SCOOTER ENGINE SERVICES AND DAVE BETTS (SES TUNING) are a Nottinghamshire based Scooter tuning Shop that specialises in Lambretta and Vespa engine modifications. We are currently developing and improving the running and performance of both Vespa and Lambretta Scooters. We are a family run shop with technical advice from a 2-stroke engineer with over 40 years hands-on experience in tuning race engines.We believe we can give you a cylinder kit tailored to suit you and your pocket.

 

To achieve this we are using parts supplied by MB development, AF Rayspeed and other well known suppliers. We supply Iron liner conversions and JAP piston conversions, which are used in all our sprint and road-going scooters.

 

We are developing road scooters, racing and sprinting cylinder kits.

 

We are now looking at tuning auto scooters with several runner/dragster iron liner conversions performing well in both speed and reliablilty.

Darrel Ward (Tarmac Tickler) acheived a 1/4 mile standing start of 101mph then did 105mph on Sun Oct 05, 2008 at Elvinton yorks.This was on his rapido 238cc lambretta sprinter.More to come from Daz next year.

 

 

Pete Newbold (Loon Racing) acheiving 101mph on his dragster 172cc sprinter.Plus he is our new road kit tester for lambretta 200cc plus kits.His G.P.will also be sprinted in the road class.
