2009 Sprinters and Racers

Dave Betts RB250 Sprinter 250 engine.

RB22 damaged cylinder from AFrayspeed machined to take new liner (in house service using westwood spun blank liners )

72mm piston, extra port layout,centre plug head,60 stroke crank,modified inlet and carb layout.

Darrel Ward 250cc TS1 Xtra Engine

Darrels big bang legal NSA engine a little late in arrival. New crank 62 mm, jet ski piston, welded cases and barrel, new exhaust, varitronic ignition, center plug head, 38mm carb, revised gearing.

As per last year after having so much success Darrel will be running the Rapido 235cc engine with further mods to the barrel for the first few meetings.This will have an extra port added like Pete's rapido 225cc road scooter.

Pete Newbold Loon Racing SESTUNING 180cc dragster

Pete will be riding his NOW 101MPH dragster with modified frame.

Engine was checked after NSA santa pod meeting and it was found that a better ignition is needed as the malossi cannot cope with the revs.

Jiggsy Group 6 Racer

Jiggs will be back out in 2009 with a modified last years engine.He his also looking at other options regarding another barrel.Porting of the barrel will now be race speck now he is starting to find his feet.Results were good for the modified ts1 touring kit and the port timing are now being tested on our RB250 road kits.
